I was born in Rome in 1985.

My training in the photographic field started after graduating from high school. I learnt the photographic basics and techniques from my father, owner of the company Controluce sas, which now i’m associate of.

I had a great training working for three years as an assistant to Paolo Pellegrin @Magnumphotos, handling his digital archive and post-production of the white and black images for different projects, exhibitions and publications.

In 2009 i founded Boogie Studio, a creative space and meeting point for photographers and videomakers in Rome.

Since then, i’ve been working as a freelance videomaker in collaboration with several Italian and foreign agencies, especially in the advertising and music field.

Some of my personal projects and collaborations, include Upupa Pop (channel dedicated to live music) and Headshot Studio (video and multimedia agency).

I find great inspiration from the work of others, always curious to follow new projects in order to expand my digital training and experience.

Last November I followed Crudo Volta Radio around 5 towns of Morocco looking for the most authentic Soul, Jazz, Rock and Folk. The following trailer is a recap of our trip through the wild streets of Maghreb and a preview of the mixtape named Petit Taxi.

The Umbria region told through the eyes of the Wolf of Gubbio, main character of the spiritual encounter with St.Francis of Assisi.
A story that finds its roots in the places and traditions of this Region, touching the suggestive towns of Gubbio, Assisi, Valfabbrica, Citta di Castello and Pietralunga. As for the Wolf, that in Umbria finds the purpose of life, the invitation is to visit this region, leave a trace mark in this territory and become a part of its story and traditions.

First Prize winning in the umbriamovie contest – spirituality category.

Story: Eleonora Cimpanelli
Music: Federico Forleo
Narrator: John Boyle

This is the first music video for Scandinavian upcoming artist Viktor Lindblom.
The twenty-two years old artist decided to fly over to Italy and make his first music video with 2 film-makers from Rome, Italy.
After a few glasses of fine wine and a tour around the historical centre of the capital, the group locked themself into a studio and let their creative minds flow.
In a completely white 200 square meters studio, the group started creating a combination of handmade visuals and installation that would go along with the lyrics of “The melody speaks again”.
